Relationship Counselling
Counselling can help you to understand why you may be experiencing some of these feelings. Talking through such issues with a counsellor can empower you to challenge irrational beliefs that you may have about yourself and your relationship, in addition to providing you with the skills needed to make the changes you are seeking.
If you are not in a relationship
- Do you struggle with feelings of being lonely?
- Do you have a poor sense of your self worth?
- Do you lack confidence?
- Do you find being in a relationship more difficult than enjoyable?
- Do you find that you keep making the same mistakes when you’re in a relationship?
- Do you constantly blame yourself when a relationship breaks up?
- Do you find that you avoid relationships because you’ve been so hurt by them in the past?
- Do you become nervous or distrustful whenever someone tries to get close to you?
More generally:
- Do you have difficulty making decisions and worry about the future? (i.e. do you experience anxiety?)
- Do you have low energy and motivation and generally feel ‘stuck’? (i.e. do you experience depression?)
