FEES

The fee for an hour-long session is $165 (inclusive of GST)
Payments are required at the conclusion of each session.

APPOINTMENTS

In addition to appointments on weekdays, weekend and evening appointments are also available.

MODALITIES/APPROACH

I am not aligned to any one particular therapeutic approach as my experience suggests it is through a combination of approaches that will often provide someone with the best outcome. For example, a psychodynamic approach may initially provide insight and give an emotional context to a client’s problems, and then this might be complemented by some cognitive behavioural therapy in order to provide strategies that can be used in their day-to-day lives.

I’m also trained in EMDR for the management and treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I work with both men and women of any sexual orientation – as individuals and as couples.

I am particularly interested in working with those who struggle with a lack of meaning and purpose in their lives.

HOW DOES RELATIONSHIP COUNSELLING DIFFER FROM INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING?

In couple counselling, the therapist works with the couple as a unit while remaining unaligned with either person. Effective couple counselling may also involve the therapist seeing both parties individually as well as a together.
